About Faber Prints...

Art Meets Print has created a unique series of prints on paper and canvas to celebrate Faber and Faber's history as a publisher of classic fiction, poetry and plays.

Faber and Faber invited Tony Davis to explore creating a series of design objects based on their history in publishing and design. This includes a series of prints celebrating the rich history of book design from illustrative work to typography by Berthold Wolpe.

The prints cover a number of genres including: Fiction, Poetry, Plays, Childrens, Film, Art and Lifestyle. These prints show original work by the leading authors, illustrators and typographers of their era. They are available in a variety of sizes to suit taste, lifestyle [and pocket!].

The designs - many works of art in their own right - stretch through the whole of Faber's history from T. S. Eliot's original drawings for Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats through illustrated works by Edward Bawden, typography by Berthold Wolpe, to more recent covers by contemporary photographers, designers and illustrators. In total they celebrate over 80 years of design at one of the world's most famous publishers.

We can't hope list all Faber's authors so for more information about Faber authors and their work visit the Faber website. www.faber.co.uk
