Who are we?
Art Meets Print is the fine art and design print publisher division owned and operated by Art Meets Matter Ltd - the award-winning design company founded by Tony Davis.
What do we do?
Art Meets Print produces limited-editions and on-demand art and design prints to individuals, galleries and retailers globally. The work is archival, museum quality and printed on canvas or paper using the highest quality production technology and craft skills available.
The work available features either the work of individual artists and themes, or licensed brands uniquely available from us.
Image and design - Commercial print programmes
If you own the rights to, or manage, a collection of images and wish to discuss developing an exclusive print publishing programme for these please contact Tony Davis at Art Meets Print.
Who is Tony Davis?
Ex-Royal College of Art artist and designer who has worked in three separate worlds: print, video and computing. His last proper job was for Apple, Inc. He founded Art Meets Matter Ltd in 2002 to explore artistic ip development. He was one of the first users of digital print technology with the Iris and Kodak inkjet and proofing systems in the early 1990s and has been waiting [and testing!] the technology since then until he was satisfied that key targets of output quality and longevity in print could be consistently achieved.
He is happy that technology has caught up with traditional methods and craft - hence Art Meets Print. He is particularly charmed by the poetic idea that the word technology has the greek root 'techne' meaning art or skill.
Featuring new artists on Art Meets Print?
Art Meets Print is dedicated to producing the work of select artists and themes. We do not normally use our production facilities for general or contracted production. However, we are happy to explore the possibility of new artists to be featured and have a select policy of artist selection.
If you would like to be considered in the first instance please contact us with details of your work and contact details via email [including website if this exists].
IMPORTANT NOTE: Please do not forward images as these will be automatically filtered and deleted.
